GoDaddy: Setting up a Custom Domain with New DNS Manager


To set up a custom domain on Dynadot, perform the following steps:

      1. Purchase your domain at GoDaddy.com (voluumtut.com in this example)

      2. Go to Domain Details

      3. Click DNS ZONE FILE

      4. Click Add Record



    5. Select CNAME (Alias)

    6. Add a host name (subdomain), track in this example

    7. Add your Voluum domain under POINTS TO.


    Voluum Note

    All domains assigned to your account you can find in the Domains tab in Voluum. If the Dedicated Domain is already available on your account, you need to point to the Dedicated Domain. Otherwise, you should provide a name of one of the Voluum legacy domains.


      9. Click FINISH

     10. Notice your new CNAME track pointing to your Voluum domain.

      11. Click Save Changes to finalize the settings


 
    12. Go to the Voluum platform:

        12a. Sign in to Voluum.

        12b. Click the  icon (top right corner of the screen). Your account data view will show up.

        12c. Go to the Domains tab.

        12d. Add your new subdomain (track.cliqski.com in this example) as your custom domain.
